Day 11
Day 11 of My Body by Vi and it's working. I've lost 5 lbs. and I don't feel deprived. I've been making some healthy eating decision too and passing up the sweets in the grocery store.

Day 2
Ok, I'm not going to put a post for EVERY day!
Just a note that today I had a shake and a banana for lunch. It was very good and very satisfying. A light snack in the afternoon kept me going until dinner.
So far, very good!

Day 1
It actually tasted very good. I was trying to drink it slowly, but it was difficult because it was so good. Afterwards I wasn't stuffed but I felt satisfied. Later in the evening I had some microwave popcorn. I was concerned that, with so little to eat, I would wake up in the middle of the night famished. Or that I might have that famished feeling the next day. Neither happened.
I think I can do this!
Why My Body by Vi? Why Now?
So, why this? Why now?
Obviously it would be advantageous for me to lose weight for so many reasons. I'm becoming more and more health conscious with everything that's going on. I want to feel good. I'm tired of my body restricting me from living a normal life. It's not about looks, it's all about health.
When my niece, Jennifer Bauer Kearns, first posted on Facebook that she was going to start this, something in my gut said "this might be the one." After a few weeks and she was doing well, I spoke with her and her sponsor about it. Her sponsor, Mary, had an interesting story about how the program with a shake everyday and the vitamins did miraculous things for her health. She shared other similar stories, as well. I decided that this is for me. Besides, my gut instinct is usually right. I would love to take the pharmaceutical-grade vitamins offered by the program, but for financial reasons can't right now, so I'm going to be drinking one shake a day as a meal replacement.
So, I've measured myself. I don't have a scale, but I get weighed so often at doctors' office I know how much I weigh. It's time to get started!
